Round Travel Bag Tutorial
Remember I told you that I had another project keeping me from the quilt for the boy? I’m so excited to tell you that today Sew,Mama,Sew! has posted a tutorial I wrote for this Round Travel Bag.
It’s based on a bag I had when I was in college (and we won’t talk about how long ago that was!) and is really the most functional little toiletry bag I ever owned. I hope you enjoy it!
Wow, great bag! This would be so much nicer to carry than hubby’s ditty bag; it’s a good bag but yours is prettier and has better pockets!
Loved seeing this on Sew Mama Sew! What a fun project – thanks!!
Great job! I adore this bag and may need to make me one!
Hi, Jeanette. I’m making this bag right now and I’m stumped. I’ve sewn the outer side piece to the outer bottom. Then I sewed the outer back piece on. The next step says to attach the inner back piece on top wrong sides together. It doesn’t say if it goes on the inside or the outside of the bottom piece.
I also can’t find any mention of how the inner sides with the pockets get attached to the inner bottom.
Please help. I’m tearing my hair out.
What a great bag ! For men AND women ! The answer to my obligatory handmade anonymous Christmas gift exchange.
I also want to point out a very simple bias tape tutorial that I posted on my blog:

I’ll make the bag soon and will have it on my blog.
Peace !
